Faith Series - Faith is the foundation for Living

IN BUILDING A LIFE, YOU MUST HAVE A SOLID FOUNDATION.IMAGINE YOURSELF AS A HOUSE, YOU WANT ROOMS IN

YOUR HOUSE, SO YOU WOULD NEVER ATTEMPT TO ADD ROOMS UNLESS YOU FOUNDATION is SOLID.

IN THE PAST I WOULD HAVE THOUGHTS ABOUT MY FAMILY's CHRISTIAN LIFE. WHY WOULDN'T MY GENERATIONS BEFORE ME HAVE A FOUNDATION BUILT ON CHRIST, UNFORTUNATELY THEIR THOUGHTS WERE GEARED TOWARD CHURCH BUT NOT CHRIST. ALTHOUGH MY GRANDMOTHER WAS AN ACTIVE CHURCH GOER, Apostolic, HOLY A DEVOTED PRAYER AND INTERCESSOR. it seemed to have stopped with her., SOMEONE DROPPED THE BALL, WHERE OUR FAMILY'S FAITH WAS CONCERNED. MY PARENTS ATTENDED CHURCH ON HOLIDAYS AND specIal EVENTS ONLY, but took me and my siblings TO CHURCH (METHODIST FAITH), faithfully. OUR FOUNDATION AS CHRISTIANS WAS NOT BUILD ON A SOLID FOUNDATION of FAITH.

No wonder our Christian faith wasn't sustained, our foundation was insecure. i will provide a foundation of faith for my generation. I will DEMONSTRATE MY FAITH IN EVERY WAY , I VOW TO PRACTICE MY FAITH CONSISTENTLY. I will exercise my faith with overcoming victory through every challenge we face. DEUTERONOMY 11:19 "Teach them to your children, talking about them (God's word) when you are at home, and when you are on the road, when you go to bed and when you are getting up." Take every opportunity to talk faith to your generation. in doing so it will become a lifestyle for them.
